In Memoriam: Lynn Spitz

Lynn's face - as above, but superimposed on a starfield, over the following text: 'Lynn Spitz. R-SPEC. Ysbryd yr Oesoedd ['Spirit of the Ages', in Welsh]'

Lynn Spitz, our friend and former board member, has set off on his personal journey to the stars. We can only guess what amazing sights and worlds he may encounter. He may even fulfill his dream of building his own world, complete with all the physics worked out perfectly. It would not be a surprise to any who knew him.

At the start of our May 6, 2025, meeting, we will have a Memories Space for anyone who wishes to share with fellow R-SPEC members their thoughts of Lynn.

The April meeting went well with three new attendees, though few people had read the Nebula nominees. Those that did discussed them and why they liked or did not like them. We also discussed why people aren't reading the magazines the way they used to and what factors might be involved in spec. fic. readership. Click the title for more information.
