One of the things we talked about at Tuesday's R-SPEC meeting was the startling Swedish vampire novel and movie, Let the Right One In. There is a US remake underway, and many elements of the original are just not going to fly with the US demographic. In other words, the US remake is going to have things changed and removed. io9.com has an article in which the director points out at least some of the differences and why those differences are there. Creepy movie, even the US version judging by the trailer. For comparison, here's the international trailer for Let the Right One In (probably NSFW).
