A few years back we noticed that there are more and more good SF/F films coming out in first-run theaters. Eventually we got around to celebrating that with a "movie night" where we meet to see a new film (and often go out to dinner afterward).
(Since we usually go out afterward and we're mostly family folks, "night" normally means "afternoon.")
We usually meet at Tinseltown in Gates [map], and if folks are interested we'll migrate afterward to one of the local eateries for dinner.
Alan has pulled together a "movie night" schedule starting with Godzilla on May 24 (tomorrow, as I write this). Here's the schedule (PDF). We don't know what the showtimes are in advance (or even if they'll show at Tinseltown that week), so get on the R-SPEC Google Group or Facebook page, or check back here, to confirm the time & place for each movie.
