Restarting blog after long hiatus

Whew, it's been a long time since I've done anything with this blog. But I've had good reasons. I started a new job in mid-2008 and have been devoting as much time as possible to getting that secure. What time I haven't put into that, I've put into maintaining my family life. There's not much left after than, particularly since my job and my family are 350 miles apart. But now things are settling into more of a routine and I should be able to devote some time to posting material.

I may refocus the blog. I haven't decided, yet. But something will be posted, at least.

In my new job, I've been learning new technologies, such as power handling/management, sensor technologies, more with MEMS, more with gas turbines, medical imaging, and detectors for radioisotopes. So, I might be posting about some of them. Even the circuit breaker is much more interesting than most people think.

So, onward!
