An iPhone-controlled four-rotor helicopter has been out for a while, apparently, and is wicked cool (iPad can also control it). It's called AR.Drone, and has a front camera and a bottom camera whose feeds you can view from the iPhone while piloting the craft. Basically, it's the home version of the drones they're using in military operations sans live weapons. It's fairly basic AR, but it's still wicked cool. But now there is a game to play with the thing - AR.Pursuit. It puts a game overlay on the world as seen through the AR.Drone control system on the iPhone, thus augmenting reality and potentially providing even more entertainment for AR.Drone owners by allowing them to shoot each other with virtual machine guns and virtual missiles. Now I have a reason to get an iPad or iPhone :-).
