R-SPEC's 2008 Nebula Poll

  • News

In our May 6 meeting we'll be discussing the 2008 Nebula awards -- which hits home for R-SPEC because one of our members, Nancy Kress, has been has been nominated in two categories. In preparation for our discussion, we're asking you to pick your own favorites. We'll report the results here after the awards have been given.

The field looks strong this year; if you're not familiar with the stories, you can find links to the full text of many on the Nebula page at SFWA.org.

We can't make this process as lovely and exotic as a real Nebula ballot because it's hard to code up support for an Australian Ballot on short notice. But you can still vote "No Award" in each category. (Please don't vote "No Award" unless you really truly feel that nothing in that category merits recognition.)

If you have strong opinions about one of the pieces, or think something is missing, please feel free to add a comment.

(Please note: You'll only be able to vote once, so don't plan on coming back to change your mind. Come to the meeting on May 6 for that!)
