On Tuesday, August 2nd, Natisha LaPierre will speak about epublishing (electronic publishing). Her topics will include but will not be limited to: receiving and reviewing manuscripts virtually, differences in the submission process between epublishers and traditional houses, what to look for in an epublisher, the pros and cons of epublishing, royalties for authors and editors, what these markets look like (what’s selling and what’s not), book signings, e-promotion, how the internet has helped authors reach out to readers across the world, and projections by professionals in traditional trade houses and author organizations regarding the future of epublishing. If you have any additional questions you would like her to address, please natisha [at] natisha [dot] us (email her prior to the meeting).

Natisha LaPierre is a content editor for MuseItUp Publishing, a Canadian epublisher. She also edits on a book-by-book basis for Double Dragon Publications, another Canadian epublisher that has recently branched into film.

We'll socialize between 7 and 7:30, and Natisha will begin her presentation at about 7:30. Please bring your questions.
